Valley, iklimin etkisinin kesin olarak bilinmediğini ancak arada dönemler açısından “ilginç bir korelasyon” olduğunu söyledi. 

Araştırma ekibi, aynı jeo-kimyasal tekniği daha eski tarihli oluşumların analizi için kullanacak. Uzmanlar, son buzul çağından kalma örnekleri inceleyerek hızlı ısı artışının iklime nasıl etkileri olduğunu anlamayı amaçlıyor. 

İsrail Jeolojik Araştırmalar Kurumu ve İbrani Üniversitesi’nden uzmanların da destek verdiği araştırmanın sonuçları, “Quaternary Research” dergisinde yayınlanacak.
